It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manly Balentine of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee W. Balentine and Annie Manly Balentine; his wife Clara Timms Balentine; and his siblings, William Leander "Buck" Balentine, J. Harold Balentine and Ann B. Mahaffey.

He is survived by: his sons, Stephen (Cindy) of Johnston, SC and Danny (Denise) of Ninety Six, SC; his grandchildren, Ryan, Rebecca (Justin), Stephen Jr. (Haley) and Danielle; his great grandchildren, Eli Jane, Sophey and Merritt; and his grandson Landen.

In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646 or to the First Baptist Church of Ware Shoals Box 449, Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
