With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Davenport of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Berry and Maggie Pace Davenport; his daughters, Loucindy Davenport and Tammy Davenport; and his great grandchild Stephanie Winchester.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Thomas Davenport (Harriett) of Greenwood, Arthur Leroy Davenport, Jr. (Jennifer Patterson) of Ware Shoals, Mary Hovis (Dale Bradford) of Ware Shoals, Sarah Greene (Robbie) of Newberry and Barbara Bunch (Tim) of Easley; and his siblings, Charles Thomas Davenport of Ware Shoals, R. Dean Davenport of Ware Shoals and Sarah Fortner of Stanley, NC. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
