He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Roland Cothran and Essie Turner Cothran; his son Leonard Cothran, Jr.; and his siblings, R. E., Edward, Donnie Cothran and Margaret Cooper.
He is survived by: his son Faron Cothran (Linda) of Ware Shoals; his sister Doris Cothran Brownlee of Laurens; his grandchildren, Brandon Cothran, Tonya Knight and Shane Henderson; and his great grandchild Landon Cash Cothran.
Burial will be private. Mask and social distancing will be required.
In Lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church, 11570 Indian Mound Road, Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
