He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Phillips and Hazel Mae Elrod; his son John Fitzgerald Elrod; and his sister Barbara Gail Hollingsworth. He is survived by: his wife Claudette Threlkeld Elrod; his daughters, Alice Amelia Elrod of Laurens and Deborah Elaine Ducote of St. Genevieve, MO; and his grandchildren, John Lee Elrod, Jamie Nicole, Amanda, Stacey and Ben. He is also survived by many loving friends and co-workers.
