He is survived by: his spouse Doris Brown Burdette of Higgins Drive; his children, Allen Burdette (Linda) of Greenwood, Don Burdette (Kathy) of Mauldin and Carolyn Burdette of Ware Shoals; and his sister Mary Smith of Piedmont.
