He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Lee and Nora Elizabeth Ashley Davis; his wife Patricia Mayfield Davis; his son Tony Ray Davis; his brothers, Billy Davis, Donnie Davis and Jackie Davis; and his pet JoJo.
He is survived by: his son John R "Robbie" Davis, Jr. (Stephanie) of Fountain Inn; his granddaughters, Kelsey Harp (Desmond) of Piedmont and Alyssa Edge (Michael) of Rochester, MN; his great grandchild Davis Sanders Harp of Piedmont; and his siblings, Gerald Davis (Barbara) of Irmo and Tina Allen (Jim) of Whitmire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
