It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eulala Small Powell (Ware Shoals, South Carolina), born in Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse J. B. Powell; her parents, John Mayhaw and Tennie Mayhaw; her siblings, James, Benton, Willis, Robert, Ernest Small and Macie Small; and her grandson Chris Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Powell (Betty) of Hodges and Betty Ashley of Hodges. She is also survived by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC.
