She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt James and Ruth Mays Latham. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Leo Bass, Jr.; her son Brandon Gates (Michelle) of Ware Shoals; her stepchildren, Mickey Bass of Augusta, GA, Stephanie Bass (David) of Edgefield and Leslie Bass (Travis) of Bryson City, NC; her grandchildren, Austin, Wesley and Kailey; and her great grandchildren, Skyla, Auroa and Harmony.
