He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newton and Mabel Davis McClain; and his siblings, Dale, Marshall McClain, Katherine Brock, Gayle McClain and Mary Harper.
He is survived by: his children, Brandi Roper (Daniel) of Liberty, Jessica Ross of Ware Shoals, Greg McClain (Cindy) of Cassatt and Bryon McClain of Lugoff; his siblings, Jimmy McClain of Ware Shoals, Marie Nelson of Powdersville and Joyce McClain of Honea Path; his grandchildren, April (Wesley), Ariel, Star (Austin), Jacey, Dane, Abel and Emersen; his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Marina and Marcus; his close friend Will Dyal (Caitlin); and also, Eliza, McKinleigh and Little Will.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cemetery Greenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery (3302 US-25, Hodges, SC 29653). Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
