She was predeceased by: her husband William Leon Dodson; and her parents, Walter Hoard and Mary Clayton Hoard. She is survived by: her children, William L. Dodson, Jr. (Susan) of Greenville, Betty Anne Dodson Black (Bryan) of Easley and Beverly Dodson Dozier (Robert) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Virginia Black, Susannah Shirley (Rob), Paul Bryan Black, Walker Pruett (Jade), Rob Dozier, Will Dodson and Eliza Dozier; and her great grandchildren, Mattie and Charlie Shirley.
