It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Rodgers of Ward, South Carolina, born in Saluda, South Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert William Rodgers and Martha Padgett Rodgers; and his wife Ann McCormick Rodgers. He is survived by: his children, Connie Ray (Roy), Patricia Bodie (Lee), Kenneth Whitfield (Rejeana) and Lester Whitfield (Kim); his grandchildren, Jesse Crawford, Breanna Bodie, Ashley Bodie, Addison Bodie, Stephen C. Whitfield, Jeffery Whitfield, Austin Whitfield, Brad Whitfield and Alyssa Whitfield; his great grandchildren, Bryce Ingram and Benson Ingram; and his siblings, Randy Rodgers, Steve Rodgers, Eugene Rodgers, Judy Wootton and Donna McCormick.
