She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ligon and Anna Corley Hook; and her husband William Monroe Black. She is survived by: her children, Joel Black (Kris), David Black, Dale B. Bartley (Neil) and Betty Ann B. Schumpert; and her grandchildren, Chris Bartley (Jess) and Leigh-Anna Schumpert (Trey). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
