It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Cornelia Burdette Johnson (Ward, South Carolina), who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Burdette and Lida Chapman Burdette; and her spouse Lofton Gurnie Johnson. She is survived by: her close friend Philip "Bubba" Hartley; her children, Lofton G. "Johnny" Johnson (Charleston), Edward Johnson (Yvonne) of Cross Hill and Tammie Dorn (Thomas) of Greenwood; her stepchildren, Russell Johnson and Debora Johnson; and her siblings, Lilian Hare of Topeka, KS and Doug Burdette of Winchester, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
