He was predeceased by: his parents, Witsell Fraser, Sr. and Essie Lou Evans Fraser; his close friend Helen Hiers Butler; and his siblings, Franklin Fraser, Fred Fraser, Frances Herndon, Martha Williams and Gale Fraser.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Jennifer Breland Sumner, Angella Butler Warren and Pamella Butler Brownlee; his siblings, Gerald Fraser, Catherine Flader, Mae Hancock, Deloris Stevens and Florence Nettles; and also, Jerry Butler Joe Ben (Linda) and Debra Butler Breland (Charles). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
