She is survived by: her children, Ernest Ray "Randy" Carmichael Jr. (Ann) of Walterboro, Frances Carmichael Reynolds of Columbia and Walter Carmichael (Jill) of James; her grandchildren, Catherine Carmichael, Davis Carmichael of Atlanta, Callie Carmichael of James Island and Lindsay Reynolds of Rock Hill; and her siblings, Amy Fore of Mount Pleasant and Henry Cannon of Conway.
