It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Bennett of Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Crosby Bennett; his parents, Willie Fairy Bennett Sr. and Nellie Johnson Bennett; and his son Charles Anthony "Tony" Bennett. He is survived by: his children, William Gregory Bennett (Yasmin) and Audrey Kim Canady; and his grandchildren, Courtney Megan Canady and Anna Maria Canady.
In consideration of the circumstances currently existing in the state and nation associated with the Coronavirus, and in consideration of the health and safety of their neighbors and friends, the family will hold a private graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, where Mr. Bennett will be interred beside his late wife.
