He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Bennett, Sr. and Edith Barnard Bennett; and his sons, Paul and Richard Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Parsons Bennett; and his children, Douglas Bennett of Kansas and Lisa Kelly of Winnsboro, SC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
