He was predeceased by: his spouse Vernelle Craven Smoak; and his parent Curtis Smoak. He is survived by: his parent Verssie Smoak; his daughter Crystal Smoak Spooner (Adam) of Cottageville; his grandchildren, Joshua Spooner and Jace Spooner; and his sister-in-law Doris Smoak.
