He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sigsbee Jones and Alma Lee Drawdy Jones; and his sisters, Judith "Judy" Elaine Jones, Mary Lee Merck, Carolyn Berry, Malda D. Taylor and Barbara "Bobbie" Steedly.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Sweatt Jones; his daughter Karen Jones Spooner (Paul); his granddaughter Jodi E. Sheely (Ike Smoak); his great grandchildren, Tobin A. W. Bartell of Stanley, A. W, Smoak and Mallory I. George; and his siblings, Denna Jean Hodges and Ronnie Hildebrand (Anna).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home (117 Paul St, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Tabor United Methodist Church (7186 Bell's Hwy, Ruffin, SC 29475).
