He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Groves Spires (Carlton) of Orangeburg and Justin Groves; his brother Carl Benton of Walterboro; and his caregivers, Wayne, Laura Benton Manigault, Manigault of Arizona and Darlene Doyle.
