He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Louis Mosandel and Gladys Tooker Mosandel. He is survived by: his wife Retha Floyd Mosandel; his children, Veronica Mosandel of Florida and Vernon Gene Mosandel, II of Florida; his stepdaughter Jessica Matthews of New York; and his siblings, Charlotte Winningham of Walterboro, Cindy Burns of Walterboro, Irene Mosandel of New York and Morris Mosandel of Walterboro. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
