With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Harr Jr. of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Harr Sr. and Opal A. Fannin Harr; his daughter Teresa Stroud; and his siblings, Robert, Dennis, Lillie and Sharon.

He is survived by: his spouse Ellie Garvin Harr; his daughters, Pam McKagen (Kenny) and Jennifer Gray; his grandchildren, Karrie, Angie (Chad), Mandy, Chad (Billie), Stephanie (Jen), Megan, Jeremy (Victoria) and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Stefan, Nick, Logan, Emily, Haley, Alex, Mason, Lucas, Maggie, Harvey, Augie, Aaliyah, Makayla, Olivia, Blaine, Avyanna and Norah; and his brother John.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be contributed to The Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
