Velda Phillips Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2021, at the age of 71, Velda Phillips of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carvel Carroll and Helen Campbell Carroll; her brother James D. Carroll; and her brother-in-law Jimmy Poole. She is survived by: her husband Jesse Hamilton Phillips, III of Walterboro; her sister Ruby Linda May of Virginia; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Phillips Poole of Green Pond and Debra Phillips Drew (Scooter) of Jacksonboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
