It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Clifton Pinnix of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Herndon Pinnix; his father Clifton Thomas "C. T."; and his siblings, Steve Pinnix and Carolyn Pinnix Davis. He is survived by: his children, Chrissie Johnson (Lennie) of Walterboro, Karen Kinard (Keith) of Walterboro, Glenn Pinnix (Michele) of Round, Amanda Walton Garrett (Andrew Garrett) of Walterboro, Tina Walton (Freddie) of Grover and Candace Pinnix-Stone (Billy) of Walterboro; his grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Bridgette, Joshua, Hunter, Taylor, Dillan, Annabelle, Willard, Angel and Gabriel; his great grandchildren, Parker, Alden, Lathan and Cason; his friend Florence Nettles; his adoptive daughter Deanna Jackson; his sisters, Vickie Bonner (Bobby) of Walterboro, Janie O'Quinn (Benny) of Walterboro and Wanda Mitchell of Spartanburg; his siblings-in-law, Diane P. Melander, Joyce Bennett and Herndon; and his friend Ben Dantzler.
