He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Neal Jones, Sr. and Emmadell Hiott Jones; his daughter-in-law Louise Iriel Jones; his brother Raymond Neal Jones, Jr.; and his stepmother Joyce Nix Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Byrd Jones; his children, Thomas C. "Tom" Jones, Jr. of Athens, Rusty Jones of Walterboro and Dee Jones Rhode (Chad) of Cottageville; his sister Marjorie Moody (Jim) of Summerville; his grandchildren, Ethan Jones (Miriam), Makayla Jones, Sabrina Jones and Luke Jones; and also Annette Brown.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in his memory to the charity of one's choice.
