He is survived by: his wife Susan Wells Evans; his children, Kevin Evans (Tammy) of Walterboro, Brian Evans of Walterboro, Gary Evans (Melissa) of Walterboro and Martie Hooker (Erwin) of Walterboro; his sisters-in-law, Frankie Jo Evans and Ellen Wells Chambers; his grandchildren, Nicole Burroughs (Jonathan), Shannon Pruitt Amanda (Cody) and Abby Evans; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Norah, Josie, Madelyn and Ellie.
