He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Bennett and Ethel Craven Bennett; and his siblings, J. W. Bennett, Olin Bennett and Thelma Bennett Dukes.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite O'Quinn Bennett; his children, Thomas Harold Bennett, Jr. (Terri Ann) of Summerton and Cindy Bennett Lyons (Anthony) of Walterboro; his brother Roy Bennett of Walterboro; his grandchildren, Leigh Ann Kellam, Leslie Bishop, Hunter Thomas, Laura Bennett and Maggie Bennett; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Lyons and Chasity Lyons; his great grandchildren, Thomas, Addison, Layla and Will; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Taylor, English and Nathan.
