Terven Amerson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terven Amerson of Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Terven Amerson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Appleton Green Amerson and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Willis Thigpen; his siblings-in-law, Kent Jones, Jim Buckley, Berlie Henry and Adele Chalker; and his siblings, Inell Amerson Henry, Eugene Amerson, Lorenza Amerson and Lorease Amerson.

He is survived by: his wife Martha; his grandmother Scarboro Amerson of Walterboro; his children, Jana (Perry Ramsey), Marnie (Jeff Dekle), Marc (Hillary Amerson) and Angela Amerson; his grandchildren, Ashley Ramsey (Andrew), Marcus Ramsey, Marley Dekle, Seth Dekle, Jack Burchfield, Natalie Burchfield, Jason Krause and Jonah Krause; his great grandchildren, Jude Krause and Eisley Krause; his sisters, Imogene Buckley, Audrey Faircloth and Mary Wilson; and his sisters-in-law, Margie Jones, Jean Jones and Carol Jackson. He is also survived by special friend that he mentored and loved, Ricky Rosemann; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to: Grace Advent Christian Church, 398 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488; or the Honor Flight Savannah, Inc, 1943 Spring Branch Church Road, Baxley, Georgia 31329.
