It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Temperance Thompson of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Cottageville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Youmans and Edna Youmans of Cottageville; her husband Robert Cornelius; and her siblings, Billy Youmans, Roy Youmans and Peggy Youmans Collier.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Edward "Eddie" Thompson (Cindy) of Moncks Corner, SC and Charles Kenneth "Sam" Thompson (Carolyn) of Laurinburg, NC.; her grandchildren, Amber, Will, Chris, Whitney, Anna, Haley and Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Eden, Damien, Axel, CharLee, Wesley, Makayela, Rivers, Myla, Avery, Wyatt and Senna.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Advent Christian Church in Walterboro, SC or to a charity of your choice.
