He is survived by: his son Mitchell Nettles of Smyrna, Georgia; his grandson Drake Nettles (Georgia); his nieces, Lynn Hudson of Ruffin and Tammy Wingo of Bluffton; and his nephew Ricky Valentine of Walterboro.
