He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna Treece and Henry S. Minnick, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Singletary Minnick; and his brother Dale Minnick (Lisa) of Newport.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like all donations to be made to the Colleton County Animal Service at 33 Poor Ram Road in Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
