He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Escoffier Patz of Walterboro; his children, Matthew Patz of Charleston, Cathy P. Cook (Scott Cook) of Holly Hill, John Patz of Charleston, Ralph E. Massenburg, III (Carol Cannon) of Meggett and Renee M. White (Eddie Bessinger) of Walterboro; his grandchildren, Maisy R. Patz of Charleston, Hunter Cook of Holly Hill, Olivia Nickerson (Josh) of Charleston, Joseph White (Haley Fender) of Walterboro, Amelia White of Walterboro, Justin Massenburg of Parkers Ferry and Austin Massenburg (Anna) of Meggett; and his siblings, Patrick Allen Patz (Rosa Mae Patz) of Macedonia and Ann Patz (Robin Patz) of Macedonia. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
