She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus Hegwood and Gladys Turner Hegwood; her son James Postell; and her great grandchild Gabriel Winchester Grooms. She is survived by: her children, Nelson Postell (Elizabeth) of Harleyville, Clifford Postell of Cottageville, Jake Postell of Ravenel, Berbie Lemons (Jesse) of Cottageville, Sherrie Chaffin (Tom) of Corvaills, MT and Mary Grooms of Cottageville; and her daughter-in-law Trena Postell of Johns Island. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
