It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ron Nolte of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. "Dutch" Nolte Sr. and Julia Mae Tharin Nolte; his wife Marilyn Gustin Nolte; his brothers, Harold W. Nolte Jr. and H. Venning Nolte; and his close friend Sandra "Sandy" Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Tharin Nolte Jr. (Kimberly) of Pinopolis and James William Gustin "Jim" Nolte (Lori) of Edisto Beach; his grandchildren, Kalen Reed (Austin) of Columbia, Tharin Nolte of Eutawville, Marilyn Nolte of Nashville and Ella Nolte of Edisto Beach; his great grandchildren, Branson and Ellison Reed of Columbia; his sister Julie Nolte Strawn; and his sister-in-law Caroline Nolte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Ronald McDonald House.
