He is survived by: his mother Frances Brownlee Hiott Bailey; his wife Mary Simmons Hiott of Walterboro; his sons, Richard Glenn Hiott, Jr. of Walterboro and Earl Daniel Hiott (Elizabeth Schneider) of Mount Pleasant; his grandchildren, Orion Alexander Hiott, Logan Gabriel Hiott, Ronan Asher Hiott, Brooke Lynn Hiott, Jade Cassandra Markussen and Hudson Peter Hiott; his sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Roessler (Dane) of Hilton Head and Vicki Gale Hiott Syfrett (Billy) of Walterboro; his brothers-in-law, Riddick Murdaugh Simmons (Debbie) of Round and Dalton McCarthy Simmons of Walterboro; his uncle Allen Brownlee (Ella Mae) of St. George; and his friends, Allen King and Ravenel Page. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
