It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wood (Walterboro, South Carolina), who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Wood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Berkley C. Wood and Hilda Hickman Wood. He is survived by: his brother Store; his children, Richard B. "Richie" Wood Jr. (Amy) of Greenpond and Tammy Wood Bryan (Greg) of Walterboro; his brother Donald A. Wood (Bobbie) of Greenpond; his grandchildren, Reagan Herndon Reichle (Brandon), Ryan Brady Herndon and Braden Richard Wood; and his close friend Katrina Drew.
In consideration of the current situation that currently exists with the coronavirus, and with the health and safety of the community in mind, the family will hold a private graveside service.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to either the Connie Maxwell Children's Home, or to the MUSC Children's Hospital.
