He was predeceased by: his father Richard Heber "Dickie" Avant. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy O'Quinn Hairston of Walterboro; his siblings, Denise Avant Gerard (Don) of Walterboro, Nikki Avant King (Clyde) of Saint George and David Avant (Missy) of Walterboro; his daughter Ally Avant of Walterboro; and his nieces and nephews, Julianne, Brad, Kenzie, Brett, Lexi and Natalie. He is also survived by his family, friends, and co-workers.
