He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin F. Wright and Eleanor Linder Wright. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Wright and Pamela C. "Pam" Wright of Aiken; and his brother Jack Wright (Ollie) of Walterboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sandy Dam Cemetery.
