He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Peter LaFave and Dorothy Mae Graham LaFave; his children, David LaFave and Paula Burkhart; and his sisters, Joan Hassett and Doruine Risteff.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Wenschhof (Joan); his daughter Pamela Kellogg (Lester); his grandchildren, Kelly Burkhart, Megan Kellogg (Jason Wetmore) and Ryan Kellogg (Angel Smith); his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Chloe Burkhart, Braedon and Rhyder Kellogg; his sister Rita Lanni; and his pet Peppi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
