She was predeceased by: her parent Tal H. Herndon, Sr.; and her siblings, Paula Herndon Polk, Helen Herndon Hudson, Brenda Raye Herndon, Michael Lee Herndon, Sr. and Tal H. "Sonny" Herndon, Jr..

She is survived by: her parent Gladys Searson Herndon; her sister Shirley Herndon Bailey of Walterboro; her sister-in-law Vicky Craven Herndon of Walterboro; her aunt Margie Nettles Searson of Ruffin; and her nieces and nephews, Karen Hudson Crosby, Denise Bailey Perry, Katie Evonne Herndon, Samantha Herndon Hiott, Paisley Polk Elliott, Brent Bailey, Shane Polk, Michael Lee Herndon, Jr. and Jonathan Herndon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as a host of close personal family and professional friends.
