It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nick Stratton of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Weston Bowen Stratton and Catherine Gibbs Stratton; and his sister Margaret S. West. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Benton Stratton; his sons, Weston Taylor Stratton, III (Brittney) of Walterboro and Sterling Hanna Stratton of Walterboro; and his sisters, Catherine "Kitsy" Stratton of Asheville and Diane S. "Dolly" Gambrell of McClellanville. He is also survived by extended family as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorial contributions be directed in his memory to the following: Faith Church, Walterboro Campus, 858 Bells Highway, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488; or to, Boy Scouts Troup 646, care of 105 Sidneys Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
