Mickey Groves Obituary
We bid farewell to Mickey Groves of Walterboro, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 15, 2024 at the age of 81. Mickey touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Nina Jean Stone Groves; his parents, Willie Ladson Groves and Tal Beverly Groves; his sons, Cayce Mitchell Groves and Ronald "Ronnie" Mitchell Groves Jr.; and his siblings, Brenda Denny, Cindy Hiott, Helen Wright, Utsey Groves and Chuckie Groves.
He is survived by: his children, Ashley Groves Thomas (Mack), Elizabeth "Nicki" Webster (Joe Willie) and Johnny Mitchell Groves; and his brothers, Roger and Bobby Groves. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home (117 Paul St, Walterboro, SC 29488). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery (2410 Cottageville Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488).
