She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Carroll Garvin and Mabel Hoats Garvin; her son Fonzie Ellis Mock, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Stanley Moore and Bud Long; her great great grandchild Kylin Evans; her siblings, Phoebe Youmans, Maybelle Padgett and Willie Garvin; and also, Fonzie Ellis Mock, Sr. and Gerald Grossie.
She is survived by: her children, James Daniel Mock, Sr. of Walterboro, Mary Ann Long of Walterboro, Rose Marie Moore of Yemassee and Helen Sauls (Harold) of Ridgeland; her siblings, Robert Carroll Garvin (Patsy) of Walterboro, Rosa O'Quinn of Walterboro and Laura Dell Risher of Walterboro; and her aunt Guilda Hoats of Hampton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
