With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jo Craven of Walterboro, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Riddick Earl Craven and Mary Ruth Carson Craven; her spouse Thomas J. Hiers; her sister Judy Connelly; and her nephew Riddick Seth Hiott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paige Gibbons (Jarrett) and Kelly K. Hiers; her grandchildren, Sawyer Thomas Gibbons and Reese Gibbons; her sister Sandy Craven; and her brother-in-law Buddy Connelly. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (3481 Sidneys Rd, Walterboro, SC 29488).
