With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Tripp (Walterboro, South Carolina), born in Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Drew Tripp and Tiny Lavenia Wiggins Tripp. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Garris Tripp; his children, Dorothy Tripp Gerard, David Tripp (Jill) of Sniders, Danny Tripp (Vickie) of Sniders, Debra Tripp Bishop (Jody) of Saint Mary's, Georgia and Jacqueline Denise Tripp-Benton of Sniders; his sister Joyce Brantley of Goldsboro; his sister-in-law Marian Smoak Tripp of Sniders; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Hoover, Shawn Gerard, Terry Tripp, Kerry Tripp, Lathon Tripp, Logan Tripp, Brandi Bishop, Bobbie Jo Bishop-Maynard and Reginald Lee Benton. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
