We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 72, Marilyn Turner of Walterboro, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Marilyn find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her father George Russell Crosby; her sons, Timothy Alvin Craven and Russell Tillman Craven; and her brother Ted Crosby. She is survived by: her mother Katherine Ryan Crosby of Walterboro; her daughter-in-law Julie Ann Craven of Walterboro; her sister Theresa Crosby (Jerry) of Walterboro; her grandchildren, Kaitlynn Craven, Mackenzie Craven (Tanner Stone) and Asheland Craven (Morgan Hall); and her friend Marcie of Barnwell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, Walterboro Chapel (1193 Bells Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
