She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Simmons and Felicia Williams Simmons; her husband Christopher Lynah, Jr.; her children, Gregory Lynah and Darlene Denease Lynah; and her siblings, Tommy Simmons, Lee Williams, Freddie Williams, Barbara Ann Folk and Lutricia Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Lieutenant Colonel Phillip Lynah, Sr. (Retired), Christine Lynah-Golden (Clifton) of Cottageville, Douglas Lynah (Donna) of Ridgeland and Hillie Lynah, Sr. (Latoya) of Walterboro; her grandchildren, Felicia Golden, Ashley Lynah, Chavaughn Geathers (Frankie), Alexis Lynah, Moire Grimes, Phillip Lynah, Jr., Gregory Lynah, Sterling Grimes, Clifton Golden, Jr., Ray Gaskins (Shontay), Christopher Lynah, Sr. (Tyra), Antonio Lynah, Christopher D. Lynah, Nicholas Lynah, Hillie Magwood, Samuel Lynah and Hillie Lynah, Jr.; her aunt Clara Williams of Walterboro; and her sisters-in-law, Lottie Mae Coleman of Athens, Georgia and Margie Williams of Savannah. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home (1767 Jefferies Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jericho United Methodist Church (1901 Peirce Rd, Cottageville, SC 29435).
