It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Malda Jones Taylor of Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigsbee Jones and Alma Lee Hiers Jones; and her sisters, Mary Lee Merck, Judy Jones, Barbara Steedley and Carolyn Berry.

She is survived by: her husband Daniel Henry Taylor; her children, Greg Garris, Shelly Nicole Taylor, Annamarie Wetsel, Jessice Lauren Marcus and Sean Kelly Taylor; and her siblings, Webb Jones and Jean Hodges. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in her memory to: Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
