With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louis Mears of Walterboro, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Louis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Mears and Addie McClendon Mears; and his siblings, Hattie Miles, Loretta Mays, Betty Mears, Mary Brown and Jacob Mears.
He is survived by: his brother Ronnie Mears (Shirley) of Columbia; and his close friend Doreen Washington of Walterboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
