She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Cook, Sr.; her parents, Douglas Stokes and Harriett Stokes; and her siblings, Gene Stokes and Terri Pruitt.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy Cook, Jr. (Tuesday) of Houston, Texas, Lynette Grider (Lee) of Guyton, Georgia and Leslie Barwick (Joe Joe) of Walterboro; her grandchildren, Leroy Cook, Ryan Cook, Jessica King, Katelyn Barwick, Gabriel Buckner, Adreanna Zachary and Khalysta Cook; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Stephens and Thomas Stephens.
Due to the extenuating circumstances with the Coronavirus pandemic and availability at the cemetery, the graveside funeral service will not be held until Thursday, January 21, 2021, at 1 o'clock in the M. J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson.
